Swarovski presents Water
This installation was created in response to the fair’s theme Elements: Water. It explores Swarovski’s longstanding and extensive work in water stewardship and education.
Water is fundamental to the Swarovski business, which was founded in 1895 in Wattens, Austria, near the Alpine rivers that provided the energy and fresh water supplies essential to crystal production. In 2000 the company established Swarovski Waterschool, a community investment program that inspires present and future generations to practice sustainable water use. The initiative has reached over 500,000 children on the world’s rivers, contributing to the long-term availability of water for the benefit of people and nature and for the maintenance of the world’s cultural and biological diversity. The Waterschool seeks to empower children, families, and schools to protect the world’s most precious resource and become leaders in sustainable development.
Building on 125 years of craftsmanship, innovation, and mastery, Swarovski designs, manufactures, and sells the world’s highest-quality crystal, genuine gemstones, Swarovski Created Diamonds and zirconia, finished products such as jewelry and accessories, as well as interior design and lighting solutions.
